Practice Nurses
We have a team of experienced and fully qualified Practice Nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The Practice Nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears, both independently, and in conjunction with our Doctors.

Treatment Room Nurse
We have an experienced, qualified Nurse working in the Practice weekdays between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Patients can be seen for dressings, BP checks and removal of stitches.Appointments are made through the Community Reception after consultation with the Doctor or by phoning 01501 740 719.
District Nurses
We have a team of specialised Nurses who assess, plan and provide nursing care for housebound patients. District nurses work with a wide range of professionals, co-ordinating, monitoring and evaluating packages of care for patients with complex care needs. They provide expert advice, education and health promotion offering a service that is patient centred.

The Practice Manager oversees the smooth running of the practice. Gillian is responsible for NHS Liaison, HR & Recruitment, Financial issues, Facilities Management, Patient Liaison, Strategic Planning & advising the Partners on Non Clinical issues.

The Assistant Practice Manager will work closely with and deputise for the Practice Manager. They
will assist in the management of the Administration team and systems, providing an efficient practice administration that meets the needs of both the practice and patients. They play an integral part in the operational development of the Practice. They support all staff, are very knowledgeable and manage their own separate workload also.

Our Medical Secretaries/Senior Administrator provide a comprehensive medical secretarial and administrative service to the patients, Clinicians and the wider practice team. Alongside other clerical duties, they deal with all financial claims/requests for information and carry out searches and practice audits.
Medical Reception Team
We have a team of dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionists. Part of their role is to ask you some questions to ensure your call is directed to – the right person, for the right care, at the right time to meet your health needs. They can provide information on services and signpost to these.
All staff are fully trained and are governed by strict confidentiality and data protection policies to ensure patient security, respect and dignity at all times.
They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with patient records and incoming practice workflow documents.
